Welcome to the Health & security , Newcastle, Bowling Club website.

We aim to serve the bowling needs  of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

This website will provide various items of interest for club members and prospective members.

Also included  will be the 2016 seasons fixtures along with results and up to date league tables when available.

The 2016 season has now started and we would love to see some new faces join us. Full training will be available for anyone who hasn’t played before.

Competitions Update:

PU Champion of Champions:

Mick Sultman continued his impressive record in this competition with a win over Kevin Campbell of Innisfree.

County Triples:

In a marathon match lasting 3 hrs 20 mins, Tiny, Stu Williams and Colin Bowman lost 16-15 after the 2nd extra end away to Portland. This was a great effort against a very strong Portland club. Hard luck lads!

Edwardson Cup:

We had a terrific away win at Rothbury by 50 points to 40. Rothbury, who are a Clegg div 1 team made it all the more satisfying and we are away to Backworth in the Quarter Finals this Thursday.

Not much good weather but nevertheless another enjoyable bowls season
ended in early September. We had team successes in the Parliamentary League winning Division 2 and in the Clegg league where we won promotion to Division 3.
